On January 5th, 2012, I will leave the United States to embark on a journey to Tanzania, Africa. My flight will leave out of D.C. on a red eye to Amsterdam. From there, we will fly to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. For 9 weeks, I will become a part of a Tanzanian community as a teacher, student, and friend. I will return to the states on March 10th, 2012, with a renowned sense of self, community, and education.
